Carn Gloose Scarf
Chevron Twill in British Aran Wool
Heather and granite are running rife along this salty stretch of Penwith inspiring the iridensent alliance in this Carn Gloose scarf
Just over the brow of our neighbouring headland lies the tumbling megalithic cliffs of Carn Gloose
Overlooking Lands End and Cape Cornwall upon which sits the Bronze Age ruin of Ballowal Barrow, where this scarf lies seemingly in it's natural habitat
These cliffs have held sanctuary to roaming hearts and curious minds for centuries
These are the stories we see in the Carn Gloose scarf

Heather grows in swathes upon the headlands of granite along the coast of far west Penwith
The rich pools of majestic purple are intricately laced with subtle undulations of colour within, as is the case in this gorgeous Aran wool
With a granite grey trim to offset the colour against the soft and supple black Merino

This limited availability British Aran heather yarn sailed back from the Hebrides with Rachel a few seasons ago and so it felt well-suited as custom for a salty sailor friend who had eyes for Rachel’s own personal scarf of matching yarn
And so it was that we made her one too!
