£225.00
The Wildwood Collection · Purely Natural, Purely Unique · Botanically-dyed
The broad wings of the guardian tree, holds a special place in history, cleft way back through the tree-rings of time, to the Viking age and beyond where it is revered as ‘Yggdrasil’ the connecting element in all worlds, the Tree of Life, of guardianship, rebirth and healing
The strong yet graceful Ash, is cherished for its true fine-grain, to make a handle for an axe, to a spoon for a newborn. The Latin Fraxinus translates as ‘firelight’ emphasises its unparalleled qualities for burning even when green. The wisps of fine featherlike foliage offer dappled light that encourages the groundcover flowers to thrive
