Oakenwood · Natural Classic Scarf

£210.00

The Wildwood Collection · Purely Natural, Purely Unique · Botanically-dyed

The autumn ochre shrouded Oakenwood, this russet-lobed patriarch of the woodland thunders fortitude, nobleness and a haven for much life. With roots that run deep through folkloric passages and ancient Irish lore of spirits and fairy-folk

The artificer’s hand has readied this hardwood through tannin-rich smoky mists of time, so much that the round table of King Arthur was said to have been carved of one mighty oak trunk, the arrow draws-back further still to associations with the mighty mythological rulers of Greece, Zeus and Thor, the Norse God. Steadfast ship’s timbers and plumb-line true, Oakenwood bequeaths a gift of endurance. From tiny acorns, do mighty oaks grow
