"The sound of the fog horn was prominent during my upbringing, I could hear it from where I lay in bed. The fog envelopes the rugged coast around Penwith and especially that of my little hometown of St. Just, as the locals well know. It’s always been a comfort knowing that the lighthouses are there to shepherd the ships as they pass, offering comfort and safety to those out there sailing on the big blue yonder.” Weaver Rae
