‘Glas’ is the Cornish word for this indescript blue-green-grey colour of the sea, also reminiscent to the colours of sea-glass

The island of St. Micheal's Mount is held safe in the open arms of Mounts Bay and is thought to be that of the heralded trading port once known as 'Iktis' where glistening rocks of tin found sails, and crossed horizons and oceans. The spirit of place we commemorate in the Iktis Scarf

Handwoven by fully-manual means upon our in-house designed and built eight-shaft floor loom in our workshop in Morvah, far West Penwith, Cornwall

Inspired by the Neolithic stones of Zennor Quoit that overlook the Celtic The scarf is sumptously bouncy and of medium softness, woven with a DK-width pure British sheepswool yarn

Once complete, *shipping for UK orders is carried out via Royal Mail Next Day Special Delivery. Overseas orders will require a longer delivery period hence please allow for 30 days from payment receipt
